Why agricultural economics?

Which degree is the right one for me?

A four-year B.Sc.Agric. degree in Agricultural Economics (agricultural and commerce subjects).
A three-year B.Com. degree in Agricultural Economics (commerce subjects).
A three-year B.Agric. degree in Agricultural Management.
A three-year B.Agric. degree in Irrigation Management.
A two-year diploma in Agricultural Management.

Admission requirements

  • Admission to the University is an Endorsed Senior Certificate.
  • The admission requirement for the B.Sc.Agric. degree is Grade 12 Mathematics with a passing rate of at least 40%.
  • For admission to the B.Agric. degree a passing rate for Grade 12 Mathematics on Standard Grade or Mathematics N4 must be achieved.
  • For admission to the Dipl.Agric. a Grade 12 Certificate or a minimum M-score of 28 must be achieved.

Each of these degrees can be followed by Honours, Masters and Doctoral degrees These post-graduate qualifications make our students very competitive in the international arena.
